Our Story
We started Glatt because good shoes shouldn't be disposable.
I grew up around a cobbler's bench, watching shoes get resoled for the third and fourth time. Somewhere along the way the industry decided footwear was meant to be thrown out after a season. We don't believe that.
Glatt is a small workshop building a tight collection of leather shoes the old way — on a single last, welted by hand, and finished one pair at a time. Buy one good pair, look after it, and it looks after you for years.
